Pensacola native Katy Mixon is back on the big screen.

Mixon, who had a role in the 2008 holiday flick "Four Christmases," is sharing the screen with Sandra Bullock in her current comedy, "All About Steve," which opened Friday.

The former Pensacola Children's Chorus member and regular on the HBO series "Eastbound & Down" plays the role of Elizabeth, who befriends Bullock's zany character.

"All About Steve" is now playing at Rave Motion Pictures Pensacola 18, Rave Motion Pictures Bayou 15 and Ridge Cinema.

For me there are unresolved questions arising from what happened in Paris on August 31, 1997. Like Budapest and Cuba, it’s another of those occasions when most people can remember exactly what they were doing when they heard the news.

I was staying with my family and some close friends in a remote Tuscan village where there was no television. We drove to Florence to see some of our party back off to London by air and decided to spend one night in a hotel before returning to the village. The following morning ten-year-old Freddy [Mansfield's son] raced down the corridor to our room as urgently as if the hotel had been on fire.

LONDON: Nearly 12 years after Princess Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed were killed in a Paris car crash, a

British lawyer, who represented
the al-Fayeds at the inquest into the mishap, has claimed her death was not an accident.

In his book, 'Memoirs of a Radical Lawyer', Michael Mansfield has said that the 1997 car crash in the Alma Tunnel in Paris still poses some unanswered questions despite lengthy inquest at the High Court.

The 67-year-old Queen's Counsel, who has represented clients in many high profile cases, has insisted the inquest had not been a waste of time and that Fayed was entitled to the procedure as "a grieving father".

In the book, which is being serialized in 'The Times', he wrote: "I found it difficult simply to accept that what happened in the Alma Tunnel in Paris was 'just one of those tragic things'. Of course it might have been, but then that's what 'they' always hope we will think.

"Judging whether a hidden hand is at work is always difficult, but I prefer a healthy and inquisitive assessment of the authorized version, and for me it was mere serendipity to be approached a year after the crash and asked to represent Mohamed Al Fayed for the purposes of an inquest."

Actress MINKA KELLY has denied she plans to wed American baseball star DEREK JETER later this year (09).
According to the New York Post, the Friday Night Lights star, 29, and her 35-year-old Yankee player beau - who have been dating for a year - have told close friends and family to "save the date" for their nuptials this autumn.
A source says, "Derek and Minka are secretly engaged. The wedding is being planned and will take place after baseball season is over."
But a spokesperson for the actress says, "There is no fall wedding planned to Derek Jeter."
